How to Use the Pokeflute in SoulSilver

In the "Pokemon" series of games a PokeFlute is a special item which causes sleeping Pokemon to wake up. However "Pokemon SoulSilver" puts a modern twist on this process. Instead of receiving an actual PokeFlute in "Pokemon SoulSilver," your character is given a radio that can tune to several stations, including the PokeFlute station. After you help the Lavender Town power station retrieve its missing part during the game's main quest, talk to the man at the radio tower to receive the radio expansion, which includes the PokeFlute station.

     Walk, fly or ride your bicycle to return to Route 11.

   • 2

     Walk over to the sleeping Snorlax blocking the path.

   • 3

     Open you PokeGear menu and select the radio. Tune the radio to the PokeFlute station. This will wake the Snorlax.

     Defeat the Snorlax in a Pokemon battle to clear it from the road and allow passage to both the cave and the other portion of Route 11 that the Snorlax was blocking.
