How to Catch Taillow in Pokemon Pearl

Pokemon Pearl and Diamond are the fifth iteration of the Pokemon games, and the first released on the Nintendo DS, with features that take advantage of the second DS screen, like a vastly expanded Pokedex and Wi-Fi multiplayer. Every Pokemon to date in the series is available in Pokemon Pearl, but some are more difficult to obtain than others. Some, like Taillow, the juvenile form of Swellow, can only be obtained by breeding.

     Go to Route 213 and use the Pokeradar to survey the area and catch two Swellow or one Swellow and another flying-type Pokemon, one male and one female.

     Take the two Swellow to the Daycare in Solaceon Town. Add them to the nursery and leave. Return in a day or two, and the egg will be there to add to your inventory.

     Walk 3,840 steps (counted with the Pokewalker function) and the egg with hatch into a Taillow.
