How Do I Get to the Far Left Side of the Ruins of Alpha in 'SoulSilver'?

In "Pokemon SoulSilver," there is an area known as the Ruins of Alph that contains several relics and only the Pokemon Unown. Unown has 28 different forms, one for each letter in the alphabet, one representing a question mark and one representing an exclamation mark. All 28 are scattered throughout the Ruins of Alph, with a few located on the far left side. To access this area, you will need to solve the puzzle within the ruins.

     Travel to the Ruins of Alph by walking across Johto or by using a Pokemon that knows "Fly" to instantly transport there.

     Enter the upper left chamber. Place Ho-Oh at the front of your party to solve the puzzle in the chamber.

     Enter the lower left chamber. Have a water stone in your item bag to solve the puzzle in the chamber. You can now access both the upper and lower left sides of the Ruins of Alph.
