The Pokewalker is a pedometer device packaged with copies of the Nintendo DS video game "Pokemon SoulSilver." The Pokewalker interacts with your "Pokemon" game to unlock new features and Pokemon. The Pokewalker can only store one saved game at a time, so you will need to delete your old game if you want to start a new one -- only delete your Pokewalker save if you are sure you want to start a new game, as you cannot get the data back once it has been deleted.

Load "Pokemon SoulSilver" and go to the main game menu.

Select "Connect to Pokewalker" to open the Pokewalker menu.

Hold the "Down" key on the D-pad, then the "X" button, and press the left shoulder trigger button on the top of the DS.

Select "Yes" when the warning screen comes up asking if you want to delete your Pokewalker save game.
