How to Get a Duel Spirit in Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Spirit Caller

Duel Spirits are the souls of Yu-Gi-Oh! cards that roam the earth, unseen by most people. In "Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Spirit Caller" you can duel these Duel Spirits and have them join your team. There are 16 Duel Spirits and each has a passive ability that gives you an advantage. For example, one Duel Spirit increases your chances of getting a card after winning a duel. As you progress, your character will sense Duel Spirits, which is your cue to find and fight them.

Instructions

  Play through the game until Alexis invites you to her dorm to duel. Follow the map marker to go to the Obelisk Blue Dorms, then battle her and the other girls.

  Return to your dorm and try to sleep. If you are level 5 or higher, your character won't be able to sleep because of a strange feeling coming from the northern part of the island. If you are not level 5 before returning to your dorm, duel until you reach that level.

  Follow your map marker to the northern part of the island. When you arrive, you will find Chumley and an old well. Save your game and go into the well. You have a chance of fighting Jerry Beans Man, Oscillo Hero and Adhesive Explosive. If you do not get the one you want, reset and reload your game until it appears.

  Battle the Duel Spirit. If you win the duel, it will join you. If you lose, you can try again. Return to the northern part of the map any time you have an endless night when you don't automatically go to sleep and can duel freely. Explore this area to find more Duel Spirits, including the two that you didn't get this time.
