How to Get a Lucky Collar on Nintendogs: Dachshund and Friends

"Nintendogs: Dachshund and Friends" is a game exclusive to Nintendo DS devices. It allows players to choose a dog and look after it, including feeding it, playing with it, buying things for it, walking it and taking it to dog shows. You can also name the pup, and train it to respond to your voice. There are various pieces of equipment you can find in the game, including the "Lucky Collar."

Instructions

  Click the "Go Out" button from your dog's home.

  Click the "Walk" button. If you have recently walked your dog, you may need to wait up to half an hour until you can walk it again.

  Select the dog you want to walk. If you only have one dog, your Nintendo DS may auto-select the dog.

  Use the stylus to draw the route you want to walk. Walk along the shops, through the park and back to your home. You must end your walk at the house, or your route will not be successful.

  Click "Yes" when "Is this the route you would like to take?" appears on the screen.

  Walk your dog. You will discover various goods as you walk around, including the "Lucky Collar" in gift boxes. If you don't get the collar on the first walk, repeat until it appears. Its location changes, but it is often in the park.
