How to Get Past the Policeman Guarding Kanto in Pokemon SoulSilver

A remake of the Gameboy Color action role-playing game "Pokemon Silver," "Pokemon SoulSilver" brings the same game play, but all-new Pokemon to the Nintendo DS. The game allows players to travel around to different locations trapping creatures called Pokemon for use in battle against opponents. In "SoulSilver's" story mode, players return to the island of Kanto to once again do battle against Team Rocket. Towards the end of the game, players must get pass an officer guarding a staircase located in the radio tower. To accomplish this task, players must first defeat Gym Leader Pryce at the Seventh Gym.

Instructions

  Travel to the Mahogany Town Gym and make your way through the gym until you reach the entrance of the third room. Traverse the ice maze in the room by taking two lefts followed by two rights, and you will reach the center of the maze to find Pryce. Engage Pryce in a Pokemon battle.

  Defeat Pryce in battle by using Pokemon that counter the ones used by the gym leader. Pryce will use "Seel," "Dewgong" and "Pilowswine" in some combination during the battle. All three of Pyrce's Pokemon have water or ice powers so try using Pokemon with electrical powers to gain the advantage.

  Listen to the call you receive from Professor Elm after you have defeated Pryce. He will inform you of a mysterious radio broadcast from Team Rocket. Fly back to Goldenrod City and talk to the Team Rocket member standing outside of the flower shop.

  Enter the Goldenrod Underground after talking with the Team Rocket member about the broadcast. Walk towards the north side of the tunnel until you find another Team Rocket member. Talk with him, and he will give you a Team Rocket uniform to wear.

  Put on the Team Rocket uniform, and head towards the radio tower to find the origin of the broadcast. The officer guarding the staircase will allow you to pass now that you are wearing a Team Rocket uniform. Travel up the stairs, and prepare to battle Team Rocket for control of the radio tower.
