How to Catch Zoroark in Pokemon Pearl

While the adventure to capture a wild Zoroark may start in "Pokemon Pearl," it ends late in either "Pokemon White" or "Pokemon Black" on the Nintendo DS console. Zoroark, the Illusion Fox Pokemon, is an extremely rare Dark-type creature that relies on projecting images of strong monsters to confuse and scare its foes. The method used to find Zoroark is extremely specific and there is no way to accidentally stumble upon one in the wild. With its tricky battle techniques and high speed stats, it is a welcome addition to most Pokemon teams.

  Attend a special event to download a shiny Entei, Raikou or Suicune to "Pokemon Pearl." Videogame retailer GameStop gave away these rare Pokemon in a special event that ended in February 2011, but Pokemon trainers are likely to trade for them through online forums.

  Send one of the three shiny legendary Pokemon to either "Pokemon Black" or "Pokemon White" from "Pokemon Pearl." This is done by talking to a man in the building on the far left of Violet City and telling him the password "Everyone Happy Simple Connection." He will give you the Relocator item.

  Wirelessly connect two Nintendo DS systems by using the "Download Play" option in "Pokemon Pearl" and the Relocator item in "Pokemon Black" or "Pokemon White." The games will search for and transfer the shiny event Suicune, Entei and Raikou over to the game utilizing the Relocator item.

  Travel to the Lostlorn Forest located on the northern end of Route 16. Walk around in the grass with one of the three legendary Pokemon you relocated in your party and Zoroark will appear.

  Use Bug or Fighting-type attacks to severely lower the Zoroark's health meter. Use a tough Pokeball variant such as an Ultra or Fast balls to raise your chances of keeping Zoroark in the device.
