How to Unlock Luminous Springs in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Darkness

The Luminous Springs area is essential to your Pokemon team, as it is the only way to evolve your favorite monsters in "Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Darkness." Although the location is unlocked late in the Nintendo DS game, using the power of the Luminous Springs to make your Pokemon evolve into stronger forms makes the post-story mode missions much easier. For example, there is no reason to keep your Krabby when you can instantly upgrade to the mighty Kingler.

     Finish the Temporal Tower mission at the end of the story and knock out Dialga at the top of the tower.

     Complete the Mystifying Forest dungeon to open the Luminous Springs area.

   • 3

     Go to the Luminous Springs with the Pokemon you want to evolve in tow.

   • 4

     Walk up to the water and press "A" to activate the evolution menu. Any Pokemon that have met their evolutionary requirements can evolve to their next form.
