How to Get Hidden Power Grass in Pokemon Platinum Version

Hidden Power is a special attacking move in the Nintendo DS video game "Pokemon Platinum." All Pokemon can learn the move, but it is different for each Pokemon type -- so a Grass-type Pokemon learns the Grass-type Hidden Power. The Technical Machine that teaches Hidden Power can only be obtained from the Game Corner in Veilstone City, and even then it cannot simply be bought with Pokedollars -- you have to use Coins won from the Game Corner.

Instructions

  Go to Veilstone City in the east of Sinnoh and talk to the kid outside the Game Corner. He will tell you to get a Coin Case from a clown.

  Go to the ridge where the Veilstone Gym is and go into the right-hand house. Talk to the clown inside and get the Coin Case.

  Go back to the Game Corner and head inside. Talk to everyone in the room and you should get around 70 Coins for free -- talk to the woman at the desk to buy more.

  Walk up to a games machine in the Game Corner and press A to play. Press X to insert some coins and start the fruit machine game spinning, and use Y, B and A to stop the three segments so that you get three matching pictures in a row. Get three number sevens or three Team Galactic symbols to win 100 coins.

  Play the slot machines until you have collected 6,000 Coins. Leave the Game Corner and go to the building next door.

  Talk to the guy behind the desk and he will show you the list of prizes that can be bought with Game Corner coins. Select the TM10 Hidden Power and buy it for 6,000 Coins.

  Open your bag at the TMs and HMs pocket and select TM10 Hidden Power. Press "Use" and select a Pokemon, and that Pokemon will learn the move Hidden Power.
