How to Make Pokemon Scripts

Introduced in the second generation of Pokemon games, "Pokemon Gold" and "Pokemon Silver," scripts can be attached to any Pokemon you want using a piece of mail. The mail system has been changed throughout later games, going from being able to write whatever you want to being restricted to select words to prevent profane messages from being sent via Pokemon trades. To create a script that you can attach to your Pokemon, you simply need to have already purchased some mail. Mail can be purchased at any PokeMart in any of the "Pokemon" games, excluding the first generation of games.

Instructions

    • 1

Travel to any PokeMart, and talk to the PokeMart attendant to purchase mail. There is no difference between the various mails aside from the background image.

    • 2

Select the mail from the "Items" option, and write your message. In the second generation of games, you use the D-pad and "A" button to select the letters you wish to enter into the letter. In the third, fourth and fifth generation of "Pokemon" games, you need to select certain words from a menu. Although this restricts the messages you can write, you are allowed to write longer messages.

    • 3

Select the "Pokemon" option from the menu, and select the Pokemon to which you want to attach the script.

    • 4

Select "Item," and select the mail you wrote. Your Pokemon will now be holding a script.
