How to Get Past the Team Galactic Grunt in Mt. Coronet in Platinum

Released by Nintendo in March 2009, "Pokemon Platinum" is one of the three Generation IV Pokemon games for the Nintendo DS. Its main antagonists are a group of people called Team Galactic. After you obtain the seventh gym badge, you must climb Mt. Coronet to get to the Distortion World through the Spear Pillar. While you're near the exit of Mt. Coronet, you will encounter a few Team Galatic Grunts blocking your way.

Instructions

  Beat the gyms in Oreburgh City, Eterna City, Veilstone City, Pastoria City, Hearthrome City, Canalave City and Snowpoint City. You will have seven badges on your Trainer Card. Teach HM08, which is Rock Slide, to one of your Pokemon. Go to Lake Acuity and watch Galactic Commander Jupiter flee to the Galactic HQ after beating your rival.

  Fly to Veilstone City. Find the Galactic HQ, which is in the northeast side of Veilstone City. Speak to the Galactic Grunt nearby, and he will run away. Talk to the Detective and head to the Warehouse, which is in the northwest side of Veilstone City. Follow the Detective into the Warehouse. Ascend the staircases and use the warp pads. Pick up the Galactic Key in the basement.

  Leave the Warehouse and return to the main entrance of Galactic HQ. Unlock the door with the Galactic Key. Move to different parts of the Galactic HQ using the warp pads and the staircases. Challenge Cyrus, the Galactic Boss. Defeat the Sneasel with a Fighting-type moves. Use an Ice-, Electric- or Rock-type move to beat Crobat and Honchkrow.

  Exit the Galactic HQ and fly to Oreburgh City. Go to Route 207, which is directly east of Oreburgh City. Route 207 will lead you to Mt. Coronet. Ascend the four flights of stairs to go to Floor 4 of Mt. Coronet. Follow the path. At the end, use Rock Climb to head up the wall. Climb up the second wall with Rock Climb.

  Run west and go through the cave entrance. Descend the stairs to reach the ravine. A few Team Galactic Grunts will block a cave entrance. Head up the western wall with Rock Climb. Go to the west cliff and enter the cave entrance there to get past them.
