In Digimon World for DS, How Do You Ally Digimon?

"Digimon World DS" is a Japanese role-playing game for the Nintendo DS. The game is similar to other "Digimon" role-playing games in that you play as a tamer who befriends Digimon and uses them to fight in battles with other Digimon. When Digimon are allies they are considered friends in the game. Allied Digimon help each other digivolve into specific forms of Digimon that wouldn't be possible without an alliance.

     Select Digimon from your collection or scan a Digimon eight to 10 times to add it to your collection. In order to scan a Digimon you must fight it in battle.

     Open your game menu and select "Party."

     Place the Digimon you want to be allies in the same party. Any Digimon fighting together in the same party are allies.

     Fight with that party of Digimon until they need to digivolve into their next form.
