How to Do Wi-Fi Events on Pokemon SoulSilver

Wi-Fi events are held throughout the United States and designated areas during premiere launches of new Pokemon versions. Although the release events of "Pokemon SoulSilver" have past, players of the "SoulSilver" version can still participate in Wi-Fi events using their "Pokemon SoulSilver" game cartridges and Nintendo DS devices. Attend a Pokemon launch event and connect to the Wi-Fi hotspot within the event facility to obtain exclusive items and Pokemon.

Instructions

  Insert your "Pokemon SoulSilver" game cartridge into the cartridge slot on the back of your Nintendo DS device and power on the Nintendo DS.

  Scroll down and select the "Mystery Gift" option from the main menu of the "Pokemon SoulSilver" game. Press the "A" button on your Nintendo DS to select.

  Choose the "Receive Gift" option, followed by the "Get Via Nintendo WFC" option. Press the "A" button to confirm your choice.

  Wait while your Nintendo DS searches for the Wi-Fi event signal and the gift that comes with connecting to the Wi-Fi at the Pokemon event. The item name will appear on the menu screen. Select the "Yes" option to confirm the item.

  Press the "Enter" button on your Nintendo DS to enter the game. In the game, walk to your nearest PokeMart and speak with the delivery man standing next to the counter. Press "A" while facing him and you will receive the event item.
