Viva Pinata is a popular game series for young children and adults where players grow a pinata and win achievements by completing certain tasks. You need to grow Oak Trees and harvest acorns to complete tasks on "Viva Pinata: Pocket's Surprise" on the Nintendo DS. Pinatas consume the acorns for romance and other objectives. You need money or to talk to certain characters to purchase Oak Trees and harvest acorns.

  Obtain an Oak Tree from Costolot's General Store or by speaking with Seedos.

  Plant the Oak Tree and use green fertilizer to help it grow. Wait until the buds appear to use the fertilizer. You do not need to fertilize the first time you see buds, but the next three times are important.

  Water the tree as well as fertilizing so it continues to grow. You can harvest acorns once your tree is fully grown. You can use these acorns to complete quests.
