Pokemon SoulSilver Walkthrough for How to Get Past the Light Tower

Like most missions and quests in "Pokemon SoulSilver," helping the Olivine City gym leader Jasmine cure her Ampharos is just another obstacle in the way of your becoming a Pokemon champion. To get past the light tower and obtain the fifth gym badge, the Mineral Badge, you must retrieve the "SecretPotion" for Jasmine.

Instructions

- 1
  Head to Olivine City and walk toward the Olivine City light tower in the southeast area of the city.

  Enter the light tower and go up to the sixth and top floor. Along the way you will encounter several Pokemon trainers with level 15 to 22 Pokemon. At the top floor of the light tower, you will meet the Olivine City gym leader, Jasmine, who says her Ampharos is sick and needs a "SecretPotion."

  Exit the light tower and walk to the shore located west of Olivine City, through Route 40. Use your Pokemon's ability "Surf" to cross the body of water to Cianwood City.

  Walk toward the Cianwood City Pokemon Center and enter the house to the left of the Pokemon Center. Speak with the man behind the reception desk and he will give you the "SecretPotion" item.

  Travel back to Olivine City and go up to the top floor of the light tower. Speak to Jasmine again and she will give the "SecretPotion" to her Ampharos. Jasmine will thank you for the item and head back to the Olivine City gym so you can battle her.
