How to Get a Four- or Five-Star Ranking for Metroid Without Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection Mode

The higher rankings in the multiplayer mode of "Metroid Prime Hunters" are earned by winning many shootouts on the battle arena. While most players are likely to take the fight online using the robust Wi-Fi modes to blast aliens around the world, you can also improve your Hunter License to a four- or five-star ranking by challenging players locally. With plenty of practice becoming the deadliest bounty hunter in the galaxy and a friend to repeatedly blast, you will earn the higher ranks in no time.

Play and win many locally connected multiplayer matches. You need at least a second player with a Nintendo DS and a copy of "Metroid Prime Hunters" to play local multiplayer without using Wi-Fi. Come in first in any of the Battle, Bounty, Survival, Prime Hunter, Nodes, Defender or Capture multiplayer modes to add points to your Hunter License.

Earn 390 multiplayer points to earn the four-star ranking on your Hunter License by winning games against a player in the same room. Earning 750 or more multiplayer points makes your character a five-star Hunter.
