How to Go in the Secret Window in Mario 64 for the DS

"Super Mario 64 DS" for the Nintendo DS portable game counsel is a remake of the Nintendo 64 game originally released in 1996. While a lot of elements from the original game are still present, they are mixed with many new ideas and features. The secret window in the original game was in a solitary room with no other purpose. This window is in the same room in the remake, but it could easily be overlooked by the addition of four doors used to switch characters. The secret window looks like a decoration but is really a portal to a hidden level.

     Earn one star from the first course in the game, Bob-Omb Battlefield.

     Enter the castle through the main entrance and go up the stairs in the foyer to the upper floor. Run all the way to the right and go through the door marked with a "1" inside a star.

     Go to the right wall in this room and stand underneath the stained-glass window that depicts Princess Peach.

   • 4

     Jump forward into the window to enter it and start the Princess's Secret Slide course.
