Pichu is a character in the "Pokemon" series of games for Nintendo's Gameboy entertainment system series. Pokemon feature the ability to evolve into new forms, and grow as characters. Pichu is the pre-evolved form of the popular character, Pikachu. To promote the game series, Nintendo has held special events, at which they sometimes give guests special Pokemon characters as rewards for attending or participating. One of these rewards is a Pichu, colored to look like a Pikachu.

Meet up with a friend who owns both a copy of either "Pokemon Diamond," "Pokemon Pearl," or "Pokemon Platinum", and special Pikachu-colored Pichu.

Enable both of your Nintendo Wi-Fi connections and travel in-game to a Pokemon Center, located in large cities across the Pokemon World.

Enter the Union Room and elect to trade with your friend. Your friend can then trade his Pichu to you.
