How to Get the Ticket to New Moon Island

New Moon Island is a location in the "Pokemon Pearl" and "Pokemon Diamond" video games for the Nintendo DS. The island is located in the Sinnoh region, which is home to the rare Darkrai Pokemon. Officially you need a Member Card, obtained at a Nintendo event, to access the island. However, due to a glitch in the games, players can access the island after completing a task and enlisting the help of Sailor Eldritch.

Instructions

  Defeat the Elite Four: Aaron, Bertha, Flint and Lucian, and their champion, Cynthia. After the victories, you receive the National Pokedex, which allows you to visit exclusive areas, including New Moon Island.

  Go to Canalave City, located in western Sinnoh, and walk to the last house on the bottom of the map, on the left side of the bridge.

  Talk to the sick boy located there, then speak with his mother since the boy will not reply. She will direct you to speak to her husband.

  Speak to the sick boy's father, Sailor Eldritch, who is standing by the house. He will request that you retrieve the lunar wing for his son. This item is located on New Moon Island and he will grant you a ticket for the trip and he will take you to and from the island as often as you choose.
