How to Update the New DSi Action Replay

Every Action Replay device for the Nintendo DS and its successors comes with software that you can install on your computer. This software, called the Action Replay Code Manager, allows you to connect your Action Replay directly to the Datel website Code Junkies so that you can download the latest codes for all of your games. This software also downloads any updates to the Action Replay's firmware, as well as updates to the software itself.

Instructions

  Install the Action Replay Code Manager software on your computer. Load the included software into your computer and follow the onscreen instructions to install the software.

  Connect the Action Replay device to your computer using the included USB cable. You will be prompted to install the drivers for the device --- follow the onscreen instructions to install the drivers. These drivers are included on the Action Replay Code Manager disc.

  Load the Action Replay Code Manager program --- once installed, it will be in the start menu, under the "Programs" submenu. Alternatively, there will also be an Action Replay Code Manager icon on your desktop if you chose this option during installation

  Click the "Software Update" button on your Action Replay Code Manager. The button is located on the upper-right side of the window. Allow the update to complete before disconnecting the Action Replay device.
