How to Catch a Relicanth With Pokemon Cheats

According to Smogon, a Water-type Pokemon will help your team accomplish any objective. In "Pokemon SoulSilver," Relicanth is a rare Water- and Rock-type Pokemon. Since Relicanth has few weaknesses, many experts recommend having this Pokemon on your team. Relicanth has the "Swift Swim" ability and the "Rock Head" ability. Instead of trying their luck with the Super Rod on Route 12 to capture this rare Pokemon, many Pokemon players opt to use Action Replay to get Relicanth instead.

Instructions

  Get Action Replay DS or Action Replay DSi, depending on which handheld console you own. As of July 2011, both versions of Action Replay cost $10 to $25. Rent or borrow Action Replay if this is the only time you will use this device.

  Put Action Replay into the DS game cartridge slot at the top of the Nintendo DS. Start Action Replay and press "B" to go to the Action Replay start menu. While your Nintendo DS is still on, remove Action Replay. Insert "Pokemon Diamond" into the DS game cartridge slot.

  Go to a different screen by selecting the green button on the touch screen. Look for the asterisk button on the bottom screen of your Nintendo DS. Touch it with your Nintendo DS Stylus or your finger. Select the "Add New Code" choice. Create a memorable name for the new cheat.

  Enter the Relicanth cheat code: 52247d8c 582000c0 12247d8a 00004801 02247d8c e0021c39 02247d90 00000171 d2000000 00000000. Make sure you don't make any mistakes when entering the code into Action Replay. Once you're done entering the code, press "Next."

  Return to the start menu of Action Replay by pressing "Go." Now that you have the Relicanth cheat activated, press "Go" again to start "Pokemon SoulSilver." Load your "Pokemon SoulSilver" save file. Press the "L" button and the "R" button at the same time. You will receive 493 Master Balls. Throw away 124 Master Balls.

  Hold down the "L" button on your Nintendo DS to get a wild Relicanth to appear. Use a Master Ball to capture the Relicanth.
