How to Get Chibomon in Digimon World: Dusk

"Digimon World: Dusk" for the Nintendo DS differs from its counterpart, "Digimon World: Dawn," in several ways. One of the differences is that the Baby-level Digimon, Chibomon, can't be found in the wild and therefore can't be created via scan data. In order to obtain this Digimon in "Dusk," you must utilize the Digimon matching system.

Instructions

    • 1

Obtain any low-level Digimon of the Dragon family, such as Koromon or Agumon, by traveling to the Limit Valley and encountering one of them until you obtain 100 percent scan data. Return to your farm and use the DigiLab to convert your scan data into a Digimon.

    • 2

Go to the DigiColiseum and speak to the Kudamon behind the counter of the main entrance lobby. Kudamon will ask you if you wish to participate in a wireless communication.

    • 3

Select to connect to the Nintendo WFC and perform a "DigimonMatching (Random)." This will allow you to receive data from another player's farm and breed your Digimon with his.

    • 4

Find a Digimon on the other player's island that is below level 15. Match your Dragon Digimon with his Digimon, and a Red DigiEgg will be created. According to the game's built in DigiEgg Gallery, a Red DigiEgg will be created from a Dragon below level 15 with any Digimon below 15. If either of the Digimon involved exceed level 15, a FeverSpotEgg will be created instead.

    • 5

Take your Red DigiEgg back to your farm and place it on one of your islands. Leave it there, and it will slowly gain Dragon Species experience points. It will hatch once it has obtained the necessary amount of experience, which you can find by selecting the egg on the island. Chibomon is one of four Digimon that can hatch from a Red DigiEgg. If Chibomon does not hatch, repeat the above process with additional Red DigiEggs until you obtain one.
