How to Restart Pokemon SoulSilver

"Pokemon SoulSilver" players can manually save their game and continue from where they left off the next time they decide to play. You only have one save file stored on "Pokemon SoulSilver" at a time. If you want to start a new game in "Pokemon SoulSilver," you will have to delete your existing save file to make room for a new one. Once you delete a save file in "Pokemon SoulSilver," you cannot retrieve it later on.

Instructions

  Insert "Pokemon SoulSilver" into the top slot of your Nintendo DS. Use the power switch to turn on your Nintendo DS. Select "Pokemon SoulSilver" with your stylus. The game will begin.

  Press any button to skip to the main menu of "Pokemon SoulSilver." Press the "B" button, the "Select" button and "Up" on the D-pad of your Nintendo DS. On the top screen of your Nintendo DS, you will see "Delete all saved data?"

  Press the "A" button and "Up" on the D-pad to verify that you want to delete your save file. The game will inform you that, once you delete your save file, you won't be able to recover it if you change your mind. Select "Yes" by pressing "Up" and "A."

  Wait for the save file to erase. Don't turn off your Nintendo DS until the save file is deleted. Return to the main menu of "Pokemon SoulSilver." Select "New Game" to start playing.
