Is There a Way to Get a Rayquaza With Action Replay in Pokemon Platinum?

The serpentine Pokemon Rayquaza, featured in "Pokemon Emerald," cannot be found in the wild in "Pokemon Platinum." With an Action Replay, however, you can get as many of the Dragon-/Flying-type Rayquaza as you like. This legendary Pokemon will be a valuable addition to your team, and will get you one step closer to completing your Pokedex.

Instructions

  Insert the Action Replay cartridge into your Nintendo DS, then place your "Pokemon Platinum" cartridge into the slot on the Action Replay.

  Power on your Nintendo DS system.

  Select the green asterisk icon on the lower screen of your Nintendo DS.

  Choose "Add New Code" from the menu.

  Name your code when prompted. Call it "Get Rayquaza" so that you will be able to easily remember the code's purpose.

  Press "Next" on the lower screen once you have finished entering the code.

  Scroll through the list of available codes to the newly entered "Get Rayquaza" code, and select it by pressing "A."

  Choose "Start" to resume playing "Pokemon Platinum," then "Continue" from the game's main menu.

  Walk or fly to the nearest Pokemon Center and activate the PC next to the counter.

  Choose "Move Pokemon" on the PC, and go to Box 1. Move whatever Pokemon is currently in slot 1 of Box 1 to another slot, ensuring that slot 1 is empty.

  Exit the PC system. Press the left and right triggers simultaneously to activate the "Get Rayquaza" code.

  Reopen the PC. Rayquaza should now be in slot 1 of Box 1.
