How to Get Pregnant in Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility

A large part of "Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility" is building relationships with the other villagers in your small country town. As you build your farm and turn it into a profitable business, you may think about starting a family with a particularly special villager. To have children, you must first get married to your ideal partner. Once you are married to a villager, pregnancy and the birth of a baby is soon to follow.

  Get your desired villager to like you by giving them gifts that they enjoy. Each villager enjoys different gifts. Talk to them to find out their preferences.

  Look at the heart level of the villager. As that person's feelings for you deepen, more hearts appear. After you raise the heart meter to a certain level, certain events occur. For instance, the villager will give you a present or ask you on a date.

  Get the villager's heart level up to eight hearts. The mayor will then tell you that you need the Blue Feather to propose marriage. Look for a bluebird in your farm. When you see one, go to the upper river to get the Blue Feather.

  Talk to the villager and select the marriage proposal option. If the villager accepts, a ceremony is held and the villager moves to your farm.

  Wait for two to four seasons to become pregnant. This happens automatically and at random times and there is nothing you can do to cause pregnancy.

  Choose your child's gender when the Tree of Tranquility asks you whether you want a boy or a girl. If you do not choose, you have an equal chance of having either gender. The child will then be born.
