How to Make DSi Frames

DSi has 11 lenses for you to play with and make changes to photos including Normal, Distortion, Graffiti, Color, Colorpad, Mirror, Mischief, Emoter, Merge, Resemblance and Frame. When you choose the Frame lens, it will allow you to select 10 different frames or use an existing picture to clear away faces or any portion on a picture to create a frame where you can fit a new picture inside of the frame. If you don't want to select the preexisting frames on your Nintendo DSi, you can simply create your own.

Instructions

    • 1

Open your DSi case and turn on your DSi and scroll to "Nintendo DSi Camera" icon. Click the icon. A window will pop up.

    • 2

Click "Camera." At the top of the screen you will see 11 icons: Normal, Distortion, Graffiti, Color, Colorpad, Mirror, Mischief, Emoter, Merge, Resemblance and Frame. Click the eleventh icon at the top right corner of your screen for "Frame" and click "Start."

    • 3

Click "Create Frame" and then select "New Photo."

    • 4

Snap a photo of anything that you desire to make a frame out of and click "Capture." Tap the screen and use your DSi pen to "color" in a particular spot in the picture to create a frame such as your face or a TV box screen. Click "Complete" and your frame will show.
