How to Catch a Lightning Stone in Pokemon Diamond

The Thunder Stone is an important evolutionary item in "Pokemon Diamond." Thunder Stones are needed to evolve Pikachu into Raichu and Eevee into Jolteon. Although it is a fairly rare item, Thunder Stones are located in several places of "Pokemon Diamond." For players looking to complete the Pokedex by collecting all of the game's Pokemon, finding at least two Thunder Stones is essential. The pair of electrical powerhouses earned by using Thunder Stones makes them well worth the search.

     Go to Sunnyshore City, located between Routes 222 and 223.

     Walk behind the lighthouse on the southeast corner of the city and search the ground for a lone Thunder Stone. Although the item is obscured from view by the lighthouse, press the "A" button as you walk and you will pick up the Thunder Stone.

     Use the Explorer Kit to enter The Underground digging mini-game. Thunder Stones and other exotic items are found by digging into the bulges of the corridor walls.
