How to Get to the Top of the Olivine Lighthouse in SoulSilver

In "Pokemon SoulSilver," your quest to collect Gym Badges will lead you to Olivine City, a seaside community in western Johto. When you visit the Olivine City Gym, you will find the building vacant; Jasmine, the Steel-type Gym Leader, is busy tending to a sick Pokemon at the local lighthouse. You must scale the lighthouse and chat with Jasmine in order to progress in the game.

Instructions

  Enter the lighthouse in the southeast corner of Olivine City.

  Go up the stairs to the second floor.

  Defeat Gentleman Preston and Sailor Huey. Preston has a level 22 Noctowl, while Huey has a level 18 Poliwag and level 20 Poliwhirl.

  Climb the nearby ladder to the third floor.

  Defeat Bird Keeper Theo. He possesses five Pidgey.

  Climb the next ladder to reach the fourth floor.

  Defeat Gentleman Fritz's two level 18 Growlithe.

  Step out the window on the east side of the room. You will fall onto a lower ledge.

  Walk around the ledge and enter the door you find.

  Defeat Bird Keeper Denis. The trainer possesses two level 18 Spearow and a level 20 Fearow.

  Climb the ladder on the west side of the room.

  Ascend the next ladder to your north.

  Defeat the Sailor Terrell's level 20 Poliwhirl.
- 14
  Go to the east side of the room and ascend the next ladder to reach the top of the lighthouse.
