How to Evolve the Starter After Beating the Darkrai in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky

"Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky" for the Nintendo DS is a dungeon crawler game set in the Pokemon world. The game allows players to evolve most of their Pokemon team with the exception of your starter Pokemon. However, once you defeat the final boss, Darkrai, you can begin the process of completing certain prerequisites to unlock your starter Pokemon's evolution.

Instructions

- 1
  Speak to Cresselia back at your Home Base. You will find her at the top of the stairs overlooking the ocean.

  Select "Yes" when she offers to join your team.

  Start and complete any Pokemon missions for for the next three days. Sentry Duty will not count toward the three days needed.

  Wait for Chatot to speak to you after three days have passed. Head to the beach and speak to Manaphy who will mention the Marine Resort.

  Select "Yes" when Manaphy asks to join your team.

  Ensure that your starter Pokemon are in your party, then head to the Luminous Spring.

  Select "Evolve" at the Luminous Spring. Choose your starter Pokemon, then select "Evolve" again.
- 8
  Choose "Yes" to confirm your evolution.
