How to Get Lucky Eggs in SoulSilver

Lucky Eggs are special items in "Pokemon Soul Silver." When a Pokemon holds this item, his experience gains increase by 50 percent. This item can dramatically reduce the time it takes to level a new addition to your party or increase the level of your strongest fighter. It isn't possible to buy Lucky Eggs, and no one in the game will offer you the item. The only way to acquire a Lucky Egg is by capturing the right Pokemon and getting lucky.

Instructions

- 1
  Head to the Hoenn Safari Zone or routes 13, 14 or 15.

  Run around these zones until a wild Chansey appears. This is a very rare Pokemon, and it may be days before you encounter one.

  Fight and capture the Chansey. Chansey is a Normal-Type Pokemon, making him weak to Fighting-type attacks.

  Check your newly captured Chansey for a Lucky Egg. Capturing a Chansey that is holding a Lucky Egg is the only way to find one, and only a small percentage of Chanseys have the item in-hand.
