How to Get Snubbull in Pokemon Diamond

The pink, dog-like Snubbull was first introduced in "Pokemon Gold" and "Silver" and has been present in all Pokemon games since, though sometimes it can be harder to obtain. In "Pokemon Diamond," you can only catch a wild Snubbull after getting the National Dex.

Instructions

  Defeat the Elite Four and complete the Sinnoh Pokedex to receive the National Dex.

  Fly to Sandgem Town and visit your other rival's house. Talk to his or her sister to find out where Pokemon are swarming that day. She will tell you where and what kind of Pokemon are swarming that day. There are 28 kinds of Pokemon that can appear in a swarm and only one Pokemon will swarm per day. If Snubbull is not swarming, try again each day.

  Put a high-leveled Pokemon that knows False Swipe in the first slot of your party.

  Purchase some Pokeballs at the nearest Poke Mart. Ultra Balls work well if you are going after Snubbull in the daytime, but at night the Dusk Ball will increase your chances of successfully catching one.

  Head into the tall grass on Route 209 if Snubbull is swarming. Walk around in the grass until you find a wild Snubbull.

  Attack Snubbull with False Swipe, which shoulder lower it to 1 HP without knocking it out.

  Throw Pokeballs at Snubbull until you catch it. With its HP suitably lowered, this should be easy.
