How to Catch a Tangela in Pokemon Diamond

Pokemon's catchphrase is "Gotta catch 'em all," a challenge they set out to all trainers. Many Pokemon can be caught by roaming around within the game. However, to catch every Pokemon in the Pokedex, players will have to trade to get the rare Pokemon that can only be found in other games. Tangela is a Grass-type Pokemon that made its first appearance in "Pokemon Red/Blue." Players of the game "Pokemon Diamond" can also own a Tangela, but they will need to collect it through a trade.

"Pokemon Platinum"

Instructions

  Turn on the game "Pokemon Platinum" and catch a Tangela. A Tangela can be caught in the Great Marsh. It is not always available, so use the binoculars that are in front of the marsh to determine when a Tangela is in the area.

  Travel to the Pokemon Center and use the computer there to add Tangela to your party if the Pokemon is not already there.

  Turn on the second Nintendo DS containing "Pokemon Diamond" and have the characters of both games make their way to the second floor of any Pokemon Center.

  Enter the trading room at the same time. Wi-Fi will connect the two systems.

  Send Tangela to "Diamond" and complete the trade.
