How to Mod in Pokemon: Silver

To "mod" or modify your game file on "Pokemon: Silver," you will need to use a GameShark game modifier. Using the GameShark, you can change the game to fit your needs, such as making yourself invincible or being able to capture any Pokemon immediately. The most common modifier is entering a code to make any Pokemon you want appear in the wild. This makes it easier to catch Legendary Pokemon such as Lugia, Celebi or Ho-oh.

  Determine the code you wish to use by searching through a list of GameShark codes for "Pokemon: Silver." There are several of these lists available online.

  Connect the "Pokemon: Silver" game into the GameShark. Connect the GameShark to the Game Boy.

  Turn on the Game Boy. At the GameShark code screen, enter the desired code and press "Start."

  Select your "Pokemon: Silver" saved file and begin playing the game with your selected modifiers. To remove the modifiers, turn the game off and remove the GameShark from the Game Boy.
