How to Pass the Sleeping Snorlax in Pokemon SoulSilver

"Pokemon SoulSilver" for the Nintendo DS requires you to explore much of the Johto region to find and capture dozens of Pokemon characters. One of these, a snoozing Snorlax, blocks the path to Diglett's Tunnel in Vermillion City. To defeat this Snorlax and access the eastern section of the city, you must first get an expansion card that allows you access to the Pokeflute channel on your radio to wake the Pokemon.

Instructions

- 1
  Take Route 24 to Cerulean City. You will bump into a rocket grunt near the bridge. Defeat this foe and he will share that he hid a part from the power plant in the city's gym.

  Enter Cerulean Gym and search for the part in the corner in the upper left.

  Go to the power plant by first taking Route 9 and then Route 10. Speak to the fat man in the plant. He will take the machine part and install it to restore power.

  Travel to Lavender Town by heading east on Route 8. Head for the radio tower. Speak to the man inside and he will reward you with the radio expansion card for restoring the region's power.

  Travel south on Route 12 and then east on Route 11 to reach Vermillion City. Find the sleeping Snorlax and turn on the radio. Turn the dial to the Pokeflute channel to wake him.
