How to Hack Animal Crossing: Wild World & Get a Crown

"Animal Crossing: Wild World" (AC:WW) is a simulation-style game for the Nintendo DS. Much like its Gamecube predecessor, AC:WW lets players earn money to purchase improvements to their town, their homes and their wardrobes. There are two wardrobe accessories in particular that stand out as symbols of wealth, due to their exorbitant price: the Crown and its big brother, the Royal Crown. It can take you months of work and dedication to earn even one of these items -- which weigh in at 1 million and 1.2 million bells, respectively -- through normal means; however, you can obtain them in mere moments by hacking.

  Start your DS with the Action Replay and AC:WW game loaded. Find your game version and activate the appropriate code before entering the game.

  Enter the game on your selected character. Head for Booker in the gatehouse to check his lost-and-found items. Retrieve the Crown, the Royal Crown and a halo from Booker. He'll seem a little leery of whether they're actually yours, but he'll give them to you all the same.
