How to Use the Spirit in Yu-Gi-Oh! GX: Spirit Caller

As you progress through "Yu-Gi-Oh! GX: Spirit Caller," you obtain Duel Spirits, which are the spirits of duel cards. Each Duel Spirit has a special ability that you can use by having it join you on your way through Duel Academy. Unlike the cards in your deck, the Duel Spirits' abilities are passive -- for example, one of the Duel Spirits increases your chances of getting a card after a duel and another increases the amount of Exp you receive after each duel.

     Return to your dorm room any time after you have obtained a new Duel Spirit. You get one quite early on, but you encounter a total of 16 throughout the game.

     Go to the closet in your dorm room and interact with it. This brings up a list of options for you -- tap the "Spirits" option, which is the third one listed.

     Find the Duel Spirit you want to use and tap it. Tap the "Equip" button to apply its ability.
