Connecting the Action Replay Card
An Action Replay card typically comes with a universal serial bus (USB) peripheral that allows users to connect it to a computer. You can add codes to the Action Replay card via the Action Replay Code Manager. The Action Replay software must be installed before the card is connected to the computer. The Code Manager window appears after the device is connected to the computer.
Preparing the Action Replay Device
The Action Replay Code Manager menu features a list of games with pre-loaded codes. In the menu, click on the "cartridge" icon next to "Pokemon Ranger: Guardian Signs" in the Nintendo DS section, and drag it to "My Codelists." Expanding the game's code list by clicking on the arrow next to the game title shows any codes that you already loaded onto the Action Replay device. Right-clicking anywhere in that list to open a submenu lets you select "Add new cheat." That triggers the appearance of a menu, in which you fill in the name of the cheat code and the code.
Entering the Corresponding Code
Giving the code a memorable name will help you reference it later. Because the code allows you to capture Pokemon after one loop, you could name it "Capture After One Loop" or a similar name. The code that must be entered is 520f2328 e1do1eba 020f232c e3ao1000 d2000000 00000000. This code makes the game significantly easier; you won't have to employ special strategies or risk defeat when battling Pokemon. Clicking on "OK" confirms the code and the change.
Applying the New Code
Applying the entered code requires collapsing the code list for the game and then clicking and dragging the game's "cartridge" icon from "My Codelists" to the game's icon in the Nintendo DS section. The dialogue box that appears asks if you want to overwrite the previous code data. Selecting "Yes" overwrites that data. Because a code was added to the list of existing codes, the existing codes are overwritten with exact copies. Unless you manually delete an existing code, the overwrite copies it automatically. Clicking on the arrow next to "Guardian Signs" to expand the code list confirms that the code was added.
Capturing Arceus
Arceus is found on the Sky Fortress in the Oblivia Region of the game. You will encounter Arceus on the observation deck. Then you can engage the Pokemon in battle and automatically capture it after one loop.
