How to Beat the Scorpion in Drawn to Life

"Drawn to Life" lets you use the stylus of the Nintendo DS to create characters, environments and music. The final battle involves you, your nemesis Wilfre and a giant scorpion he summons to take care of you. This giant scorpion is invulnerable to conventional attacks and the only way to hurt it is to wait for it to make a mistake. If you can capitalize on this mistake, then you can defeat the giant scorpion.

Instructions

  Attack the scorpion when it first charges at you. This will not hurt the creature but it will keep it from getting too close to you. It will eventually retreat and blow shadow gas at you. Retreat to the far left side of the screen to avoid this attack. Repeat this process until it blows shadow gas again; every second time the scorpion uses this attack it also creates platforms above it.

  Jump up onto the second platform and attack Wilfre. He will flee temporarily and the scorpion will be stunned. Press "Down" on the directional pad and "A" at the same time to use the "Ground Pound" attack on the scorpion.

  Repeat this process of fending off his attacks, jumping on the platforms, attacking Wilfre and using the "Ground Pound" attack on the scorpion. On the third "Ground Pound" attack the scorpion will be defeated.
