How to Get Dialga in Pokemon Black

Dialga is the legendary Pokemon from "Pokemon Diamond." Although you cannot capture Dialga in "Pokemon Black," you can easily transfer one from a copy of "Pokemon Diamond" or any other fourth-generation game that contains a Dialga. The method of transferring Pokemon from older games to the fifth-generation of games is known as PokeTransfer and can only be done once you have beaten the Elite Four. You must also have at least six Pokemon in the storage system of the fourth-generation game.

Things You'll Need

2 Nintendo DS systems
"Pokemon Black"
"Pokemon Diamond," "Pokemon Pearl" or "Pokemon Platinum"

Instructions

  Turn on both DS systems and load the respective games.

  Travel to the PokeTransfer Lab on Route 15.

  Talk to the PokeTransfer attendant and confirm that you want to begin the process.

  Select the six Pokemon you wish to transfer to "Pokemon Black." Make sure Dialga is one of the six Pokemon.

  Complete the mini-game by tossing Pokeballs at the six Pokemon as they jump from bush to bush. The rarer a Pokemon is, the faster it will move, so aim accordingly. Once all six have been caught, they will be transferred to your copy of "Pokemon Black."
