How to Get the Azure Flute Without an Event on Platinum

Nintendo released an event for "Pokemon Platinum" in Japan that gave players the Azure Flute. You can take this key item to the Spear Pillar in Mount Coronet. Once you use the Azure Flute, a staircase will appear. Go up the stairs and you will arrive in the Hall of Origin, where you can fight and capture Arceus. Unfortunately, Nintendo never released the Azure Flute for "Pokemon Platinum" players in the USA. The only way you can obtain the Azure Flute is by using Action Replay.

Instructions

  Purchase Action Replay for the Nintendo DS from a store that sells consoles and games. As of June 2011, you can get Action Replay for as low as $15.

  Insert "Pokemon Platinum" into the Action Replay cartridge. Place the Action Replay cartridge into the top slot of your Nintendo DS. Turn on your DS and start Action Replay. Select the green button on the touch screen.

  Use the D-pad on your DS to highlight "Add New Code." Press the "A" button to select that option. Scroll through the list of games until you find "Pokemon Platinum." Highlight the option and press "A" to choose it.

  Name the new cheat "Azure Flute" or something similar. Enter the following Action Replay code: 94000130 FCFF0000 62101D40 00000000 B2101D40 00000000 0000B5D4 0000000A 0000B5D8 00000000 D2000000 00000000. Select "Next."

  Go the main menu of Action Replay. Touch "Start" on the touchscreen to begin "Pokemon Platinum." Go to any PokeMart in "Pokemon Platinum" and talk to the Delivery Man. He will give you the Azure Flute.
