Travel to Hearthome City, located in the Sinnoh region. It rests north of Route 212 and south of Amity Square. Head to the northwestern section of the city and look for the largest building in the area, which is the Contest Hall. Move around the Contest Hall and speak to every individual you find to gain information and items.
Speak to the woman who wears a pink dress and has pink hair outside of the Contest Hall. She is the Hearthome City gym leader, Fantina.
Go to the Pokemon Gym, located in the northern section of the city. Amity Square rests directly behind the Pokemon Gym.
Enter the Pokemon Gym. You must answer four questions to gain access to Fantina. Each door has a number on it, which corresponds to an answer to the questions. You must enter a door to get to the next question. Select the door labeled "15" when asked the sum of three, seven and five. Remember this answer, as it will also be the answer to the fourth question.
Choose the door labeled "40" when asked the sum of 12 and 28. Pick the door numbered "39" when asked the product of three and 13. Enter door "15" to answer the last question. You will enter the room where Fantina battles her opponents.
Send a Ghost, Dark, Electric, Ice or Rock-type into battle against Fantina's Drifblim, a Level 32 Flying and Ghost-type Pokemon. Ghost and Dark-types will also effectively defeat Fantina's Gengar and Mismagius, earning you a new badge. Your party should consist of Pokemon mostly at levels 35 and higher.
