Instructions
Head up to the main area of the temple. Go to the left and defeat the Chuchus by stunning them with your boomerang, then using your sword. Examine the four stone tablets here, then walk to the north. Stay at the bottom of this area and run to the right. Head to the second floor when you reach the stairs. Bomb the wall to your left to find a secret area. Enter, then walk south and bomb the wall on the right side. Leave the room, then walk down and stand on the platform. It will take Link across the gap.
Keep your shield facing north as you cross, blocking the arrows that come your way. Go south to another platform. Use your boomerang to hit the switches here in the order left, right, top, then bottom. This will open the door on the right. Ride the platform through. Head to the right and find the switch around the corner. Stand at the bottom hallway and hit the switch with your boomerang. This will change the location of the falling boulders on the lower floor. Return to the platforms. Ride them back to the stairs and the first floor.
Head back to the area north of the entrance and cross the path on the right. Take notice of the vine here, then go up the north stairs. Kill the Chuchus, then go to the right. Take the next set of stairs to the third floor. Go into the room at the left. Defeat the Snapper by hitting him with your sword when he pulls you in with his whip. Stun him with your boomerang, then finish him off. Open the treasure chest to get the Whip item.
Return to the east side of the room and down the stairs. Head to the south and use your Whip on the wooden poles. Tap the poles with your stylus to swing across. Grab the treasure from the chest, then take the stairs to the first floor.
Return to the vines on the east side of the room. Use the Whip to pull off the two spikes blocking your way. Get the treasure, then head to the south end of the room. Swing across the poles to the southwest corner. Whip the fish statue to pull the handle. A treasure chest will appear at the top of the room. Grab the treasure and go up the stairs to the second floor.
Go to the north side of this floor and into the secret area you bombed open earlier. Clear the spikes with the Whip, then head north. Throw your boomerang at the switch on the right side and a pole will appear to your left. Exit south and head to the west end of the secret floor. Swing across the poles and hit the fish statue with your Whip. Go south to the moving platform. Swing on the pole and drop down onto the platform. At the end, go into the Stamp Station for the eleventh stamp. Return to the Snapper room on the third floor.
Swing across the gap to the west. Take the stairs to the fourth floor. Go south and swing across the pole. Eliminate the Chuchus, then grab the handle in the corner. This will open the door to the center of the room. Pull the handle on the right and go down the newly-opened staircase. Go to the north wall on the left side of the room. Whip the fish statue on the left and pull out the sword. Keep the whip equipped and hit the other fish statue. Open the treasure chest that appears for a key. Use the Whip to swing to the middle of the room. Swing to the north, then go right. Attach the whip on the pole, then drop down on the platform when it's beneath you. Open the chest for treasure.
Head back to the north side of the room, then go west. Kill the Chuchus, unlock the door and return to the fourth floor. Head to the east and swing across the poles to the right. Use your Whip on the Chuchus here to pull off their helmets, then defeat them. Go up the stairs after the battle. Go to the middle of this room and defeat the Snappers, then walk west to eliminate the Chuchu. Continue left and whip the handle. When the propeller comes out, use your Whip once again. It will take you to the stairs leading to the sixth floor.
Defeat the Chuchus here by pulling out the sword on the statue. Attack the Chuchus with the sword and they will fall. Return to the fifth floor. Pull the lever and use the propeller to reach the above platform. Whip all three fish statues to pull out the swords. Toss them aside to break them. Cross the wooden poles that drop to continue. Head to the northeast corner and use your Whip on the vine creature to pull out its tentacles. Proceed through the path and swing across the gap. Take the stairs in the upper left-hand corner.
Swing across the poles and hit the switch on the other side. Go south, kill the Chuchu and examine the stone tablet. Look at the fish statues on the floor and take note of which ones have swords. Mark these on your map if you wish, then head to the east. Swing across the gap and grab the key from the chest, then swing back down.
Pull the spikes from the vine on the west side of the room. Pull the handle to make a treasure chest appear. Loot it and return to the stairs at the upper-left corner and head back to the fifth floor. Swing across, then arrange the swords so that they're in the same positions as the statues in the upper room. Head south and use the key on the door. Swing across, then head up the stairs and back to the sixth floor.
Pull the handle here and grab the propeller. Let go when you're above the moving platform, then step on the switch. Grab the big key and head north. Defeat the Key Masters and take the key up the stairs to the big lock. Take the stairs to the seventh floor. Swing across the gap to the north. Whip the vines, then tap the stone tablet to create a warp portal. Collect some additional life by smashing the pots, then head up the stairs. After the cut-away scene, swing across the gaps with your Whip to climb the tower. When you encounter the vine enemy, use your Whip to pull out one of its spikes, then throw the spike into the vine's eye. Proceed across the gaps until you reach the handle, then pull it for a propeller. Ride the propeller to the Ocean Temple boss, Phytops. Defeat him to complete the level.
