How to Defeat Grimmon With the Balance Pack in Digimon World Dawn & Dusk

Grimmon is an enemy boss that appears during Quest 4 of both "Digimon World: Dusk" and "Digimon World: Dawn" for the Nintendo DS. The two video games are identical in every way, except for the unique Digimon creatures that appear in either one. When the game begins, players must choose from three packs of two Digimon. The Balance Pack, as opposed to the Attack and Defense Packs, contain Digimon that have evenly distributed statistics. Defeating Grimmon with the Digimon from Balance Packs in either game can be easily achieved as long as you have appropriately prepared for the battle.

  Select the Balance Pack when beginning a game.

  Play through the game's storyline until you reach "Quest 4: Explore Limit Valley."

  Equip a Digimon that can attack three zones simultaneously during battle. If you are playing "Digimon World: Dusk," equip the Gaomon that you received in the Balance Pack. If you are playing "Digimon World: Dawn," equip the Agumon that you received in the Balance Pack.

  Play through the "Quest 4: Explore Limit Valley," until you reach the enemy boss Grimmon.

  Use move that can hit three zones at once, such as Double Backhand, when attacking Grimmon. Since he takes up three zones of the battlefield, these attacks will be three times as effective against him.

  Heal your Digimon when its life becomes low during battle.
- 7
  Use offensive moves, especially those that hit three zones, against Grimmon until his health bar is depleted. Grimmon will perish upon losing his health, and your Digimon will receive 1,200 experience points.
