How to Get the Magma Stone in Platinum

"Pokemon Platinum" is a role-playing game for the Nintendo DS released in 2009. The Magma Stone is a rock that controls Heatran, the legendary Pokemon that inhabits Stark Mountain in "Platinum." You have to help trainer Buck get the stone and thwart the attempts of Team Galactic to steal the stone for themselves.

Instructions

- 1
  Walk north from Route 227 to find Stark Mountain. Enter the cave entrance and defeat Commander Mars and Commander Jupiter inside. Descend the steps and use the "Strength" ability to push the boulders and pass through the area. Ascend the stairs up to the cave door.

  Speak to Buck in the next area. Team up with him to help get the Magma Stone. Take the first right and then go up at the next turn. Use "Rock Smash" ability on the boulder and keep walking up. Take the stairs on the left at the end of the pathway. Turn up and take your first left. Smash the boulder and keep walking left until you reach the stairs. Descend the stairs, take your first left and turn up at the wall.

  Turn right at the end of the passage. Go down the first flight of stairs and use the "Strength" ability to push the boulder. Move it to the end and go up the stairs. Enter the door to stop the Magma Stone from being stolen.

  Watch the cutscene as Charron, then Looker, take the Magma Stone. Buck takes the stone and returns it to its natural setting.
