How to Catch Cressailia on Pokemon Diamond

Cresselia is a legendary Psychic-type Pokemon available in "Pokemon Diamond" after you obtain the National Dex. Encountered at level 50, Cresselia is a roaming Pokemon, which means that you will have to chase it down once you have encountered it. If you have a Masterball, this won't be a problem, but if not, this can make things tricky. Thankfully, certain moves prevent Pokemon from fleeing a battle.

Instructions

  Complete the game and talk to Professor Oak to obtain the National Dex.

  Travel to Canalave Town and talk to the family in the house north of the Sailor. They will explain the legend of Full Moon Island.

  Interact with the Sailor to go to Full Moon Island. Cresselia will be there. Interact with it to begin the chase.

  Use your Poketech to locate Cresselia on the map. Go to that area.
- 5
  Walk around until you encounter Cresselia. Upon the start of the battle, use the Masterball. If you do not have the Masterball, use any Pokemon that knows the move "Mean Look" to prevent Cresselia from running away. Then simply weaken it until you can throw a Pokeball at it to capture it.
