How to Repair Final Fantasy Action Replay Game Files

Action Replay is a program that allows you to enter cheats into games, but it is an unlicensed product that can corrupt your game files. While older versions do not offer a solution to fixing game files, the Action Replay DSi allows you to restore the game from a back-up save created prior to data corruption by selecting the backup save file option in Action Replay's "saves" menu. This feature can be used if your file for "Final Fantasy 3" or "Final Fantasy 4" will not load.

     Turn on the Nintendo DSi and make sure the Action Replay device and "Final Fantasy 3" or "Final Fantasy 4" game cartridge are both connected to the handheld.

     Load Action Replay DSi and select "Saves" from the main menu.

     Choose the game save you would like to restore from a backup file and confirm your selection by highlighting yes and pressing the A button.
