How to Get the Evolve Mineral in Spectrobes

There is only one Evolve Mineral that you can get before completing the main storyline of "Spectrobes" for the Nintendo DS. Evolve Minerals automatically evolve your Spectrobe to the next stage in its evolutionary chain. Normally, you can excavate for Evolve Minerals in Nessa Area 2 once you beat the game, but if you really need an extra level for your Spectrobe, you win one by competing in an optional tournament-style battle that takes place in Nessa Area 3.

Instructions

- 1
  Travel to the planet Nessa. This is the desert planet and the fourth planet you visit in the game. Nessa is also where you can sell minerals and excavate for minerals after completing the game.

  Head east from where your ship lands, which is straight shot from the ship to the entrance to Nessa Area 2. Once you change screens into Nessa Area 2, continue to the east. Halfway across the map, you will have to go south a bit, but keep heading east and you'll find the entrance to Nessa Area 3.

  Walk south, along the border of the area until you are in the southeastern corner of the map when you enter Nessa Area 3. You will find a black vortex in this area. Interact with the vortex to initiate a series of 30 consecutive battles. If you win, you are awarded an Evolve Mineral.
