Travel to Jubilife City and equip your bike. Change the bike to the fastest gear and travel to the northern part of the city. Start at the left of the bottom-right lamp post and go up one step, right one step and then up four steps without stopping. Immediately after doing this, travel in random motions as quickly as possible, making sure not to bump into any obstacles.
Go to the western part of the city. If the first step was done correctly, the western part of the city should be completely black.
Go to the left of the Jubilife Co. Building sign and go seven steps up, four steps to the left and three steps down.
Press the "X" button and select your Pokedex. Close the menu, then go down one step to enter the "void." You will now be inside the Jubilife Co. Building.
Travel to the right until you see the Jubilife City message in the top left of the bottom screen.
Use the "Explorer's Kit" once you have entered Jubilife City. Save the game. There will be an error message. Reset the system and start the game again.
Register the "Explorer Kit" by selecting it from the items menu and pressing "Select."
Go 870 steps to the right and 64,000 steps to the north. If you have the Poketech step counter application, this step will be much easier. If not, you will need to meticulously count each step. After the 64,000th step, you will be in "fake Sinnoh." Once you have entered "fake Sinnoh," take 3 steps to the right of the white rock on Route 224 and equip the bicycle. Head north until the "Jubilife City" message appears again and you are on a bridge.
Press the "Y" button to use the "Explorer's Kit" and save the game. Another error will occur. Reset the system and load the game again. Press the "X" button and select the Pokedex. Close the Pokedex. Make sure to only use the "Explorer's Kit" on the white area of the bridge. You will now be on Seabreak Path. Follow the bath until you encounter Shaymin.
Press "A" to interact with Shaymin and begin the battle. Use fire-type or ice-type Pokemon to weaken it and capture Shaymin with a Pokeball when its health is in the red zone. Use a Pokemon that knows the move "Fly" to leave the area.
