How to Put VBA Pokemon to Platinum for DS

One of the hallmarks of the "Pokemon" game franchise is the ability to transfer Pokemon from previous installments to your new character in the current installment, allowing you to have a complete Pokedex for every region in the game world instead of just the region you happen to be in. "Pokemon Platinum", along with its sister games "Pokemon Diamond" and "Pokemon Pearl," was among the first games in the series on the Nintendo DS. Pokemon from the older systems can be transferred to "Platinum" through the use of Pal Park.

Instructions

    • 1

Fullfill the requirements to be let into Pal Park. While you can approach the park before doing so, you will be denied entrance. To enter you will need the National Pokedex and have at least seen all the Pokemon in the Sinnoh region, the portion of the game world in which "Platinum" takes place.

    • 2

Go to Pal Park. It is where the Safari Zone used to be in older generations of the game, north of Fuchia City.

    • 3

Speak to the Warden. He will explain how to use Pal Park to migrate your Pokemon from older games to "Platinum," give you access to the park and migrate your Pokemon for you.

    • 4

Recapture your Pokemon in Pal Park. When transferred to Platinum, they will be set loose in the park for you to recapture. You can only do six at a time.
